John Lewis reveals Top 10 toys for Christmas 2026

John Lewis has unveiled its top 10 toys for Christmas 2026 following months of research and testing by its expert buying team. The retailer expects family and intergenerational play to be a major theme this Christmas, with toys encouraging children and adults to spend less time on screens and more time playing together.

Combining classic toys with new trends

The selection combines classic toys with new trends and popular entertainment properties. Highlights include the John Lewis Wooden Breakfast in Bed Set, Le Toy Van’s Paddington Doll’s House, Marvin’s Magic Treasured Tricks Wooden Set, alongside construction toys such as the Plus‑Plus Learn to Build Space Super Set, and the Connetix Ball Run Launcher.

Licensed and pop-culture products

Licensed and pop-culture products also feature strongly. The list includes Mattel’s K-Pop Demon Hunters Singing Dolls, TOMY’s Momiji Sugar Plum Wood Blind Box Message Dolls, and a Gruffalo-themed Micro Scooter. LEGO’s Icons Winter Village Collection Holiday Express Train is another highlight and will be exclusive to John Lewis and LEGO.

The retailer’s top 10 range from the £14.99 Momiji Message Doll to the £299.95 Le Toy Van Paddington Doll’s House. John Lewis says the selection reflects growing interest in imaginative, creative, and shared play, alongside major trends such as K-pop and blind-box collectibles.
