Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR universe set to expand

IMG has been appointed by actor Keanu Reeves and writer Matt Kindt, creators of BRZRKR, as its exclusive global licensing agent. The collaboration will develop engaging consumer products and experiences for the series' growing fan base.

A protagonist and his cursed existence

The comic book series draws on themes and characters from some of Reeves' favorite films, including The Matrix, John Wick and Bill & Ted. Known for his work on The Amazing Spider Man and Captain America, llustrator Ron Garney, has B., the series' Keanu Reeves-like protagonist, come to life in search of the truth about his cursed immortal existence.

Second best-selling comic publication in 30 years

First issue of BRZRKR was released in 2021 and became the second best-selling comic of the 21st century (after Stars Wars #1 in 2015) and the best-selling first comic publication in nearly 30 years, selling 615,000 copies. Immediately after, the series announced a live-action film and anime series in collaboration with Netflix, as well as a new original novel to be published by Random House.

Developing consumer products and experiences

Now, the BRZRKR universe continues to expand with a multi-year deal with licensing giant IMG. IMG will develop a range of consumer products and experiences, including apparel and accessories, collectibles, toys, food and beverage, and location-based experiences.
