Kids India reports record exhibitor numbers

The organizers of Kids India report that the event has been able to reinforce its position as the most important international B2B trade fair for the Indian toy industry with the success of the previous show.

New exhibitor record

Between August 31 and September 2, 5313 trade visitors from 35 countries came to the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai to learn about innovative product ideas, make new business contacts, strengthen old business relationships and exchange business ideas. The ninth edition of Kids India was organized by Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd. a subsidiary of Spielwarenmesse eG, and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce.

With 160 companies from 18 product groups, Kids India set a new exhibitor record.

All signs point to growth

The development of the Indian toy market clearly points to growth, which was also evident from the exhibiting companies. Industry giants and creative start-ups ensured great exhibitor diversity, with over 200 brands offering retailers a wide range of high-quality products.

“Kids India is the best platform in India for companies to present their products not only to the domestic market but to the market worldwide,” said Manish Kukreja, CEO of Min Toys. Alain De Rauw, International Sales director at Plan Toys, added: “We are delighted to be here at Kids India – we find it very inspiring.”

The tenth Kids India will be held in Mumbai from September 12-14, 2024. For more information, visit the website of kidsindia.
