Konami Cross Media brings Yu-Gi-Oh! to ITVX
Konami Cross Media NY, which oversees the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand outside Asia, has signed a new licensing agreement with ITVX to bring all three seasons of the anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! Go Rush!! to viewers in the UK. The deal reflects growing demand for premium anime content on streaming platforms.
Fast-paced Rush Duel format
The eighth installment in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, Go Rush!! introduces the fast-paced Rush Duel format and follows intergalactic duelist Yudias Velgear and the residents of Mutsuba Town on new adventures. The series is designed to appeal to both new audiences and long-time fans.
For ITVX, the acquisition supports its strategy to broaden its anime offering as the genre continues to move into the mainstream. Konami highlighted the franchise’s long-standing popularity in the UK and its extensive catalogue of more than 1,000 episodes, making Yu-Gi-Oh! a strong fit for streaming audiences.
