Learning Resources has been named in the sixth annual TIME100 Most Influential Companies list as well as in the ranking of the 10 Most Influential Manufacturing and Logistics Companies for 2026, a rare dual recognition highlighting its global impact on trade and industry.

Attention for their involvement in a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case

The companies also gained attention for their involvement in a landmark U.S. Supreme Court case, Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump, which challenged tariffs imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). The case argued that only Congress, not the executive branch, has constitutional authority to impose taxes and tariffs. In February 2026, the Supreme Court ruled 6–3 that IEEPA does not grant the president tariff authority, effectively invalidating the tariffs and reinforcing limits on executive power in trade policy.
