Legends of Learning launches Angry Birds-themed educational games with Rovio Entertainment

Rovio Entertainment has entered into a licensing partnership with Legends of Learning for a range of Angry Birds educational games.

The partnership is brokered by global Angry Birds licensing agency IMG and will contribute to a series of educational games.

Rovio, a mobile game specialist, is best known for its Angry Birds franchise, which was initially released as a mobile game in 2009.

Dr. Vadim Polikov, CEO of Legends of Learning says of the collaboration, "The combination of this iconic brand with the academic rigor and student engagement

that teachers rely on at Legends of Learning will be revolutionary.

Students will love it, and research study after research study has shown that test scores rise when students are engaged in challenging game-based learning."

The Legends of Learning platform currently includes over two thousand instructional and assessment-based video games.

Legends of Learning and Angry Birds learning games are planned as interactive gameplay. Hands-on problem solving and familiar characters are used to

teach curriculum-oriented STEM concepts such as angle measurement, collisions, and force interactions.

The Angry Birds learning games will be available through the Legends of Learning platform in fall 2023.
