Lego and Toei Animation are releasing a Dragon Ball series
The LEGO Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku set consists of 1,764 pieces. It depicts the summoning of the dragon Shenron using the seven Dragon Balls. Son Goku is seated on his cloud. According to LEGO, the designers based Shenron’s body shape, scales, and characteristic pose on images from the original Dragon Ball series. The model is primarily designed as a display piece for adult fans. Members of the free LEGO Insider program can purchase it starting November 1, 2026; the general release in LEGO Stores and via the online shop will follow on November 4.
First collaboration
For LEGO, this marks its first collaboration with Toei Animation in the Dragon Ball universe. Federico Begher, LEGO’s Senior Vice President of Product, Marketing, and Development, described the Shenron set as the beginning of a partnership.
LEGO and Toei Animation have not yet disclosed which characters or scenes will be featured in the sets planned for 2027. In addition to the original series, the franchise includes Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, and numerous feature films.
