Lego Group: creating an environment that values employees at every stage of life
Lego not only offers family-friendly products and anything a child or collector could desire. The company also aims to create a family- and employee-friendly environment for its workforce. As a family-friendly company, the Lego Group addresses man life situations of its employees.
These include:
Inclusive workplace: Lego Group wants its workplace facilities to be as inclusive as possible. You’ll find everything from all-gender toilets, breastfeeding spaces and free menstrual products to wheelchair-accessible amenities and wellbeing rooms.
Care leave: Lego Group employees can take up to four weeks of paid care leave to look after sick or dependent relatives.
Paid parental leave: Primary caregivers receive 26 weeks of fully paid leave, secondary caregivers two months. Parents decide for themselves who takes on which role. The company covers 100 percent of the salary, significantly exceeding the regular 67 percent paid by the state as part of parental allowance.
Support during challenging phases of life: A comprehensive employee assistance system offers confidential advice and support – whether for mental health, family challenges, or specific issues such as menopause.
Flexible working models: Individual solutions that enable employees to better balance their professional and private lives.
A working environment that inspires
With these measures, the Lego Group is pursuing a clear goal: to create an inspiring, inclusive, and appreciative working environment that promotes the diversity and individuality of its employees.
