LEGO Group reveals the LEGO Art Claude Monet
The LEGO Group, in partnership with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, has unveiled the LEGO Art Claude Monet – Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies (31220). The 3,179-piece set reimagines Monet’s iconic 1899 painting—now part of The Met’s collection—as a detailed brick-built artwork designed for home display.
Inspired by Monet’s garden in Giverny, the set recreates key elements of the masterpiece, including the water lilies, bridge and lush trees, using layered bricks and varied colours to reflect the artist’s distinctive brushstrokes and Impressionist style. The finished piece includes a built-in wall hanger.
To mark the launch, The Met is showcasing the LEGO model alongside the original painting, and visitors can pose behind a large-scale LEGO recreation of the artwork in The Met Store from 1 March. Additional imagery highlights the set displayed in Monet’s garden in Giverny.
From 1 March 2026, builders can also access an exclusive podcast with Met curator Alison Hokanson exploring Monet’s work, as well as 3D building instructions via the LEGO Builder app.
