Lladró and Pokémon celebrate 30th anniversary

Lladró has teamed up with Pokémon to commemorate the franchise’s 30th anniversary with two exquisite handcrafted porcelain sculptures featuring fan-favourite characters Pikachu and Eevee. The new editions blend Lladró’s artisanal design tradition with the beloved aesthetics of the Pokémon universe. 

The collaboration launches in Japan in March 2026, with a global release planned for June 2026 through Lladró boutiques and online. 

The collection includes:

• A limited-edition Pikachu & Eevee sculpture — just 288 pieces worldwide — that shows both characters seated together on a leafy ledge surrounded by delicate flowers and foliage. Each figure was carefully studied so that proportions, gestures and volumetric details are faithful to the original designs, with Pikachu in vibrant yellow and Eevee in warm cream and brown hues. 
   
• A standalone Pikachu sculpture, capturing the iconic Electric-type mascot holding a small flower, characterised by its smooth silhouette, red cheeks and signature lightning-bolt tail, finished with bright glazes to accentuate its colour. 
  The detailed process behind these pieces required over one thousand hours of specialised work in sculpting, technical development and ornamentation to translate the characters into porcelain masterpieces. 

This collaboration marks a celebration of Pokémon’s cultural impact while showcasing Lladró’s craftsmanship at the intersection of art and popular culture
