Match Attax and Bulldog: new licensing agreements
Bulldog Licensing has signed two new licensing deals for the football trading card game Match Attax, expanding the brand into apparel and stationery ahead of the 2026 football season.
Apparel and stationery launches
Under the agreements, Blues Group will create children’s daywear and nightwear, while RMS will develop a range of stationery and accessories. Bulldog Licensing represents Match Attax on behalf of trading card company Topps.
Clothing range for young fans
Blues Group’s collection targets older primary school-aged boys and will include T-shirts, a football outfit, and pajamas featuring the Match Attax logo and football-inspired designs. The range is set to launch in spring and summer 2026.
Expanding into stationery and novelties
RMS will introduce core stationery items such as pen sets, diary sets, water bottles, and keychains, alongside novelty products including a fidget spinner, LED bouncy ball, and water and pinball games. The launch is planned around major football events in 2026.
A strong and popular brand
Match Attax is one of the UK’s best-selling sports trading card games, widely collected by children across the UK and Ireland. With hundreds of millions of packs sold and strong digital engagement through Topps and major football partnerships, the brand offers significant potential for further licensed expansion.
