Mattel Press debuts Smilestones

Mattel announced the launch of Smilestones, a new Fisher-Price board book series from Mattel Press. Created in partnership with the expertise from the Fisher-Price Play Lab, these books are designed to be approachable while offering expert, pressure-free guidance for parents.

The first three titles, “I Am Kind!,” “I Can Listen!,” and “I Can Babble!,” are available for pre-order now and will officially launch on Tuesday, August 12, making them a perfect fit for young, growing families. A second wave of Smilestones books, focused on big emotions, potty time, and sign language, will follow on Tuesday, October 7. All titles will be available wherever books are sold.

This launch is part of a larger push to expand our iconic brands beyond toys and reach new audiences with full-fledged storytelling through Mattel Press, Mattel’s own publishing platform.
