Mattel strengthens leadership team with three senior appointments
Mattel has expanded its leadership team with three senior appointments covering music, consumer products, and strategy and operations.
Samantha Juneman
Samantha Juneman has joined the company as head of music, reporting to Natalia Premovic, Mattel’s chief consumer products and experiences officer. She will focus on developing music as a strategic franchise and commercial platform across content, products, marketing and experiences. Juneman brings more than 15 years of experience in music and entertainment and most recently led legacy artist management at Iconic.
Gerardo Leon
Gerardo Leon has been appointed head of consumer products for the U.S., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Reporting to Meredith Norrie, head of global consumer products, Leon returns to Mattel after five years at Netflix, where he was responsible for strategy and business development with major retail partners. His new role will support the development of broader, cross-category franchise programs with retailers and brand partners.
Rahul Lakhwani
Rahul Lakhwani joins as head of strategy and operations for consumer products and experiences, reporting to Natalia Premovic. His responsibilities will include turning the division’s strategy into portfolio priorities, improving operational discipline, and supporting scalable execution. Lakhwani previously led strategy for Fever Originals’ global portfolio of live experiences and has more than a decade of experience in consumer products, entertainment, and gaming.
