Monopoly GO! is now number 1 mobile board game worldwide

Two months ago, on April 12th, the popular board game Monopoly was launched as its mobile board game version, Monopoly GO!. 

According to current figures, it is already a great success and has secured a place in the top five charts of free mobile games. 

In terms of revenue, Monopoly GO! is currently the number one mobile board game in the world. The launch of Monopoly GO! was the biggest casual launch in the last five years. 

It's a success to be proud of and a probably a pleasant development for Scopely's parent company Savvy Games Group, which acquired the game maker for $4.9 billion just six days before the launch of Monopoly GO! 

Commenting, Cynthia Williams, president of Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro Games at Hasbro, said:
