Naruto card game sets worldwide launch for June 2027
BANDAI CO., LTD. has announced that NARUTO CARD GAME will launch simultaneously worldwide in June 2027. The announcement was made at New York Comic Con through the company’s BANDAI CARD GAMES brand, following the game’s world debut at Gen Con 2026.
The launch lineup will include three Starter Decks featuring Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha and Gaara, alongside the first Booster Pack, titled Enter: Naruto Uzumaki!. The Starter Decks come pre-constructed with all the cards needed to start playing. Each is built around a different Leader and features its own selection of ninjas and strategic play style.
The first Booster Pack will feature popular characters from both the original NARUTO series and NARUTO SHIPPUDEN. It will introduce additional ninjas, techniques and other cards, allowing players to strengthen their Starter Decks, collect favourite characters and build their own decks. Further card illustrations will be revealed ahead of launch.
Demo events and global campaign
Premier Demo Events will begin at participating trading card game stores in February 2027. These events will give players, including NARUTO fans who are new to trading card games, the opportunity to try the cards and learn the rules. The rollout will start at selected large-scale stores participating in BANDAI TCG+, with additional stores joining in a second wave.
Two exclusive products were also unveiled: the advance-release Official Playmat – NARUTO VS. SASUKE – and the Premium Card Collection Vol.00 – CHAKRA Set. Both will be available exclusively at Premier Demo Events and selected BANDAI CARD GAMES FEST 26-27 events, including those in Orlando and London. Details of participating stores, event dates, registration and product availability will be announced through the game’s official website and social channels.
A global campaign will begin in spring 2027, distributing a total of one million Demo Decks worldwide. The initiative will give players the opportunity to experience the game’s basic mechanics ahead of its launch.
The next major NARUTO CARD GAME update is scheduled for Jump Festa 2027 in December.
