Netflix and McDonald’s: Stranger Things Happy Meal

Netflix and McDonald's have partnered to launch a special Happy Meal inspired by Stranger Things: Tales From '85 as part of a global campaign in spring and summer 2026.

Full of adventure and ’80s nostalgia

The promotion brings fans back to Hawkins, where familiar characters face new supernatural threats in a story full of adventure and ’80s nostalgia. To make the experience interactive, each Happy Meal includes a QR code that unlocks a digital game, allowing fans to join the characters and help save the town.

Each themed meal comes with a custom-designed box, one of up to 12 collectible toys, a Stranger Things activity book, and access to the digital experience.

Rolling out worldwide

The campaign is rolling out worldwide across more than 60 countries. It launches first in countries such as Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Panama, Peru, and Slovenia in late April, followed by additional markets including the United States (from May 5), Germany, Australia, Singapore, Norway, Portugal, Italy, India, the Netherlands, and others in the following weeks. 

Overall, the campaign combines physical and digital elements to create an immersive experience, supported by advertising across digital, social, and traditional media.
