New SAZ group founded in the Netherlands
The Game Authors Guild (SAZ) has founded SAZ Nederland, its second foreign group after SAZ Italia (2017). A logical consequence after the membership in the Netherlands had developed positively in the last years.
SAZ Nederland can build on the already proven structures of the Spellenmaakgilde, which was founded by Arjan van Houwelingen back in 2015. He is now also the spokesman for SAZ Nederland. The Spellenmaakgilde has been active in recent years with the organization of game tests, weekend meetings, pitching conventions, game jams and design award. With the founding of SAZ Nederland, these activities will now be taken to a new level, as well as strengthening the international presence of SAZ as an interest group for game designers.
