Ninth Kids India with best exhibitor value and high visitor internationality

Kids India has confirmed its status as the most important international B2B trade fair for the Indian toy industry. From August 31 to September 2, 5,313 trade visitors from 35 countries came to the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai to discover innovative product ideas, make new business contacts and gain up-to-date industry knowledge. Kids India recorded an all-time high on the exhibitor side. 160 companies presented an extensive range of toys, children's and sports articles in 18 product groups. The ninth edition of Kids India was organized by Spielwarenmesse India Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Spielwarenmesse eG, and the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. The leading industry associations Sports Goods Export Promotion Council (SGEPC) and The All India Toy Manufacturers' Association (TAITMA) provided intensive support for the event.

Central platform for exhibitors

The signs in the Indian toy market are pointing to growth. This was also noticeable among the exhibiting companies. Industry giants as well as creative startups ensured great exhibitor diversity and offered the trade a wide range of high-quality products with more than 200 brands. "Kids India is the best platform in India for companies to present products not only to the national market but also to the global market," Manish Kukreja, CEO of Min Toys, praised the fair. Also satisfied is Alain De Rauw, International Sales Director at Plan Toys: "We are very happy to be at Kids India as it is very inspiring for us."

Networking and toy know-how

On the visitor side, the mood was also overwhelmingly positive. In addition to novelties and brands, personal exchanges have also become the focus of international trade visitor interest. Retailers and buyers used the three days of the fair for intensive networking. Concentrated know-how on market trends, innovative technologies and current developments in the toy industry was also provided by an attractive lecture program with seminars and interactive panel discussions.

Christian Ulrich, Spokesman of the Board of Spielwarenmesse eG, draws an extremely satisfied conclusion: "Kids India continues its success story. With the high internationality on the visitor side and the large range of quality products, it has proven its status as the most important international toy trade fair in the South Asian region. The event generated numerous new impulses for the Indian toy industry. It also vividly illustrated India's growing importance as a global production location for the toy market."

The tenth Kids India will be held in Mumbai from September 12 to 14, 2024.
