Officially confirmed: Hello Kitty movie to be set for summer 2028

Hello Kitty's cinema debut has now been officially confirmed. Sanrio's Hello Kitty will make her big screen debut on July 21, 2028. 

A film combining animation and live action was announced back in 2021. New Line secured the rights to produce a film based on the global brand in 2019.

Sanrio's iconic cat from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures Animation is distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.The film will be produced by Beau Flynn.

The storyline of the new film is still a secret.
