Panini brings Sonic the Hedgehog to the trading card market

Panini is bringing the world of Sonic the Hedgehog to the trading card market with a new collection celebrating characters and eras from across the franchise.

The collection features a checklist of iconic characters, combining classic and contemporary designs. Collectors can find characters including Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Dr. Eggman.

The set also includes several themed insert series, including Negative Space, Eggman Empire, and Artistry in Motion. Among the rarest cards are Color Blast and Kaboom! cards featuring Sonic and other characters from the franchise.

Additional limited-edition parallels include Tie-Dye Prizms numbered to five, and one-of-one Black Prizms, adding further rare collectibles for fans to pursue.

The Hobby format contains six cards per pack, with six packs in each box, and 12 boxes per case. Panini will also offer Hobby Preferred and retail configurations.

The collection takes collectors through different parts of the Sonic universe, from Green Hill Zone to the franchise’s later adventures, bringing characters and elements from the gaming series together in a new trading card release.
