People of Play establishes advisory board for Young Inventor Challenge
People of Play is forming an advisory board for the Young Inventor Challenge, a toy and game design competition held during the Chicago Toy & Game Fair.
"The Young Inventor Challenge will be held for the 17th time in 2023 and has grown so much recently, it was time to create an advisory board," said Mary Couzin, founder and president of People of Play.
The Advisory Board:
Alicia Alexander-Klitsner: Educator and former YIC director.
Helaina Cappel: Founder of Kids Table Board Gaming
Mary Couzin: President and founder of People of Play
Michael Gramelspacher: Co-director and founder of SG Labs, co-organizer of the St. Clare School Innovator Club (SCIC)
Ahren Hoffman: Director of the Young Inventor Challenge
Ken Johnson: Inventor of Phase 10 and member of the Oakland School District in Michigan
Julie McNamara: Advanced Level Performance System, teacher at Palos East School in Palos Heights, Ill.
Allison Miller: Founder and president of Happy Camp Live
Gene Murtha: ASTRA board member, POP executive committee and SCORE regional director
Erik Quam: Vice President of Business Development Smart Toys and Games
Tim Walsh: Founder of Playmakers and Chairman of the Board.
