Playmobil back in the McDonald's Happy Meal
In 2025, it's once again time to collect, play and discover - with Playmobil figures as a toy addition to the McDonald's Happy Meal.
Following the great response last year, McDonald's and Playmobil are continuing their successful partnership. Since 12 June, exclusive collectible figures have once again been available in the Happy Meal in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg. The popular animal world is being further expanded - with eleven new wild animals such as panda, sloth and peacock, which invite children and families to take part in little play adventures in everyday life. The figures were produced in close collaboration with the Playmobil design team and stand for playtime fun that connects generations.
Campaign in over 70 countries worldwide until 2026
The collectible figures are available in Germany, Austria and Luxembourg until mid-July - in line with the summer holiday season, when many families are travelling together and is the ideal time for playing together and creative journeys of discovery. The campaign will then be gradually rolled out internationally, reaching over 70 countries worldwide by spring 2026.
The cooperation will be accompanied by high-profile marketing activities from McDonald's, which will ensure visibility on various channels - from TV to social media, POS and app.
For Playmobil, the cooperation is a further step within the current brand strategy. The current claim ‘The world is your playground’ summarises the core of the brand: to accompany and encourage children to discover their world through play. The collaboration with McDonald's picks up on this approach - through shared experiences, creative play and sustainable impulses in everyday family life.
