Playmobil expands Mattel partnership with Barbie collection
Playmobil is expanding its collaboration with Mattel to include Barbie, following the launch of its Monster High collection in autumn 2025. The new Playmobil x Barbie range is scheduled for a global launch in summer 2026 and reimagines the Barbie universe through Playmobil’s modular play concept and detailed playsets.
Seven playsets
Inspired by the Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures series, the collection comprises seven playsets designed for children aged four to ten, as well as Barbie fans. Centred on friendship, creativity and imaginative play, the range encourages children to create their own stories and adventures in the world of Malibu.
Water Park playset
The collection is led by a Water Park playset featuring a pool, water slides and play features, with the pool designed to hold real water. Additional sets include a convertible car, Beach Café, Adventure Boat, Beach Fashion, Brooklyn and Malibu, expanding the play world with new characters, accessories and everyday scenes.
According to Playmobil, the Barbie and Monster High collections reflect the shared goal of inspiring children through creative storytelling, diverse characters and imaginative play experiences, while combining Playmobil’s play concept with one of the world's most iconic toy brands.
