Playmobil: Sky Trails launches at Müller
With Sky Trails, the toy manufacturer is launching not only a new brand but also a completely new type of play system on 1 August 2025 – with Müller, a European retail group with around 900 stores.
Sky Trails combines building, action and creative play: children and adults can design individual tracks throughout the room – and beyond – chase figures through loops, descents or flip rails at high speed and create ever new constructions. Each set has a modular design and can be combined to create ever new constructions. Action elements such as loops, track blasters and lifts provide surprising effects, speed and high-flying thrills. In addition to being fun to play with, Sky Trails also promotes spatial thinking and a playful understanding of physical relationships.
‘Whereas in other play worlds the fun ends after assembly, with Sky Trails it's only just beginning,’ says Bahri Kurter, CEO of Playmobil. ‘A new product like Sky Trails thrives on being experienced in person – with good advice, presentation and the opportunity to discover its fascination live. That's why we're delighted to be working with Müller as a strong partner to launch the product in brick-and-mortar stores.’
Launch with eight products
Eight different Sky Trails products will initially be available at Müller when the product launches – from the large starter kit to extensions with flip rails, loops and lifts. The system received top marks in market research and practical tests in Germany, France and the USA: 85 per cent of the children and parents surveyed wanted to keep the product immediately – a strong signal for retailers and consumers.
Strong retail placement
Sky Trails has been available exclusively since 1 August 2025 in over 400 Müller stores in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia and Slovakia, as well as in the Müller online shop. From 1 September 2025, Sky Trails will also be available from other retail partners and online retailers.
