Pokémon to celebrate 30 years with yearlong campaign

The Pokémon Company International has announced a yearlong global campaign to celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary, launching with a new Super Bowl LX commercial airing on Feb. 8, 2026. The spot will highlight Pokémon’s mission of bringing people together and honor its multigenerational global fanbase.

Starting into the festivities

The festivities began at Pokémon Center with the launch of a new product collection spanning themed apparel, Pokémon TCG accessories, home decor and more — available in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. Fans can look forward to more new product drops throughout 2026 that help them celebrate 30 years of Pokémon.

Reflecting community

Further details on the campaign and fan activations were revealed after the Super Bowl. According to company president Kenji Okubo, the anniversary will reflect the community that has supported Pokémon since its launch.

The celebration will also include 30th-themed products across the franchise, including new Pokémon Trading Card Game collections, expanded anniversary merchandise at Pokémon Center, licensed products from partners such as Jazwares, and the launch of the first LEGO Pokémon™ sets on Pokémon Day, Feb. 27, 2026.
