Popeye: new releases in India

The success story of Popeye the spinach fan and sailor continues unabated in India. In response to demand, King Features has announced a series of Popeye fashion collaborations with some of India's biggest apparel brands including WROGN and The Souled Store.

The world-renowned sailor Popeye, is part of King Features Syndicate, a unit of Hearst and home to some of the world's most beloved entertainment characters.

The partnerships were brokered by Black White Orange, King Features' licensing agent in India.

New product offering

Upcoming collections include a range of 15 new T-shirt designs from Bioworld Merchandising and a product offering featuring Popeye at Reliance Trends, India's largest retailer. Both are scheduled to launch in the spring. Additional products are planned.

India loves Popeye
