ReDefine Originals signs first-look co-production deal with Cantilever Media

ReDefine Originals has signed a multi-year first-look co-production deal with UK-based Cantilever Media, the studio behind The Amazing Maurice. This new collaboration marks a bold step forward in our mission to create standout CG animated features for the global kids and family audience.

Under the agreement, ReDefine Originals and Cantilever Media will jointly develop and co-finance a dynamic slate of animated films, aiming to deliver two to three titles per year over the next three years. ReDefine Originals will lead animation production across each project, with Cantilever Media producing and handling UK distribution through its in-house arm, Kazoo Films.

Backing the slate is Prime Focus Studios, the content financing and production arm of the DNEG Group.

Cantilever Media and ReDefine Originals are already working together on Bollywoof with Newscope Films, an animated feature film for Sky Cinema which will be released in 2027.
