Registration opens for expanded Game Inventors Convention 2027
Registration is now open for the 2027 Game Inventors Convention, which will take place on February 5, 2027, during the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg. Organized by the Spielwarenmesse Group in cooperation with the Bavarian Game Archive Haar, the event connects game designers with publishers, editors, and agencies from across the industry.
Expanded the offering
For the 2027 edition, organizers have expanded the offering to provide additional opportunities for participants to present prototypes, exchange ideas, and build professional connections. The convention will once again be held in the Brussels and Munich halls and the foyer of NCC Mitte at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre.
The event will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by the GamingHour networking event from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase new game concepts, meet industry professionals, and engage in discussions about current developments in game design.
Registration opened in June
Registration for game designers opened in June 2026 and will remain available until December 15, 2026. The Game Inventors Convention continues to serve as an international platform for emerging and established creators seeking to bring new game ideas to market.
