Ruko launches compact R1 Mini Robot Dog
Ruko has launched the R1 Mini Robot Dog, a compact interactive robot toy designed for children aged three and up. The new addition to Ruko’s robot toy range combines self-righting technology, four-way stunt flips and gesture sensing.
The R1 automatically returns to its feet when it tumbles or lands upside down. It can perform forward, backward, left, and right flips, as well as more than 10 routines including dancing, push-ups and swimming. A programming mode allows children to combine movements into customised sequences.
The robot can be controlled in three ways: through a gesture-sensing wearable watch, a 2.4GHz remote control, or touch sensors on its back. Measuring 6.3 × 4.1 × 3.4 inches, the R1 is designed for indoor play and travel.
The robot also features a storytelling function for quieter play before bedtime.
