Schleich is setting the course for its next phase of growth: David Albert will become Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the leading international toy company effective January 1, 2027. With this long-time Schleich executive, an experienced leader from within the company is taking the helm. Albert embodies continuity and international experience, as well as the consistent further development of the brand and its global growth strategy.

Significant contribution to the company’s transformation

For the past twelve years, David Albert has shaped Schleich’s development in various leadership roles. In doing so, he has made a significant contribution to the company’s transformation and internationalization. In his current role as President of North America, he is responsible for Schleich’s second-largest market and has played a decisive role in shaping its dynamic growth. At the same time, Albert oversees the global e-commerce business and has played a central role in expanding key digital sales channels—from Amazon to direct-to-consumer and other e-commerce platforms.

With the appointment of David Albert, Schleich is deliberately choosing a leader who knows the company, its brand, and its international markets from his own many years of experience, while also possessing a strong global perspective.
