Spin Master to acquire creative play technology company Hapiko
Spin Master has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Hapiko Inc., a Brooklyn-based company focused on creative play technology for the next generation.
Known for Stickerbox
Hapiko is best known for Stickerbox, a creative tool designed to bring children’s ideas to life. The platform uses a child-safe, AI-powered operating system to transform children’s spoken ideas into stickers that can be colored, collected and applied in the physical world.
Stickerbox is designed to encourage open-ended, hands-on play and offers possibilities for future product extensions. The creative tool has sold out 13 times since its launch in late 2025.
“By pairing Hapiko's platform with our track record of innovation, we can accelerate our vision for the future of play,” said Christina Miller, CEO of Spin Master.
Hapiko CEO Arun Gupta said the company created Stickerbox as a platform for children’s creativity and that joining Spin Master will provide a larger audience and platform for growth.
Stickerbox includes voice-to-image generation, allowing children to describe what they imagine and create a printable sticker to color and share. The product is designed to minimize passive screen time and encourage tactile, real-world play. Its ink-free technology produces outlines without requiring ink or maintenance.
Kid-safe AI
The platform also uses kid-safe AI and is COPPA-compliant, with a focus on safety and privacy.
Hapiko Inc. is based in Brooklyn and develops creative play technology by combining child-centric design with kid-safe AI.
