Starbright Licensing to represent Chiikawa, Mofusand and Koupen Chan in Italy
Starbright Licensing has been appointed by Spiralcute International to represent Chiikawa, Mofusand and Koupen Chan in Italy, adding the three creator-led character brands to its licensing portfolio.
Each property has its own creative identity, established fanbase and growing international presence across content, consumer products, collaborations, retail and experiences.
Character IP
Chiikawa, created by illustrator Nagano, has developed from a popular manga into a character IP spanning animation, consumer products, collaborations and immersive experiences. Mofusand, created by illustrator Juno, features playful cat characters known for their distinctive illustration style and wordless humour. Koupen Chan, created by illustrator Rurutea, is a baby emperor penguin character centred on positivity, encouragement and everyday achievements.
Starbright will lead the development
Starbright will lead the development of the three brands’ licensing programmes in Italy, identifying partners and opportunities aligned with their individual positioning and long-term growth.
