Starlight Children’s Foundation announces 2026 Award honorees

Starlight Children’s Foundation has announced the honorees for its 2026 Starlight Awards, recognizing individuals, hospital teams, organizations and content creators helping improve the hospital experience for seriously ill children and their families.

Lifetime Achievement Award

This year’s recipients include Robert Pasin, Chief Wagon Officer at Radio Flyer, who receives the Lifetime Achievement Award, and actor and podcaster Steve Burns, who is honored with a Golden Heart Award for his long-standing support of hospitalized children. Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt has been named Hospital of the Year.

The Golden Hero Awards

The Golden Hero Awards recognize six individuals and teams, including child life teams at Sutter Medical Center and Driscoll Children’s Hospital, as well as representatives from Insmed, TGR Haas F1 Team, the Rosalie and Harold Brown Charitable Trust and the LEGO Group’s Tempe office.

Starlight through fundraising

The awards also highlight digital creators supporting Starlight through fundraising. Hel, Sas8Jr and BlackAppleCreative are recognized as Content Creators of the Year, while Jessica Murrey, CEO and co-founder of Wicked Saints Studios, receives the Excellence in Innovation Award for the game World Reborn and its collaboration with Starlight.
