Statista: Estimate of Amazon's sales on Amazon Prime Day in the USA and worldwide
On July 11 and 12 was again Amazon Prime Day. Amazon generates ever higher sales on this campaign day. According to an estimate by Statista, the majority is generated in the USA.
In 2022, it was estimated that around 7.8 billion U.S. dollars were generated in the U.S., while total global sales amounted to 12.09 billion U.S. dollars.
That is around one billion more sales than in 2021, and the forecast for 2023 has been raised again. On Prime Day, many items from kitchen appliances to game consoles are reduced.
Amazon has been offering Prime Day since 2015.
