Study: AI uncharted territory in marketing
AI as ‘uncharted territory: Germany lags behind in the implementation of artificial intelligence in everyday marketing in a European comparison. This is the result of a study conducted by HubSpot in collaboration with LinkedIn. According to the study, German companies are still in the testing phase when it comes to AI.
Data and AI for the future
Only seven percent of marketing experts in small and medium-sized companies (up to 1,000 employees) in Germany have already optimised the use of artificial intelligence in their department and now want to make greater use of it. This is the lowest figure compared to other European countries. The leader in Europe in this respect is Finland (20 per cent), followed by Switzerland (17 per cent) and Belgium (13 per cent). The figures are the result of the study ‘AI usage in Europe: How data and AI are changing the rules of the game in marketing’ by HubSpot, for which 2306 marketing managers in small and medium-sized B2B and B2C companies in Europe were surveyed, including 507 from Germany.
