Super Mario Bros: Jakks Pacifics plans new figures and playsets

Based on the characters from the Super Mario Bros. movie, Jakks Pacific is planning a line of new figures, as well as two playsets and other products. 

These are scheduled to go on sale exclusively at Targen in the U.S. beginning in July.

The line expansion includes 5 more elaborate figures with numerous points of articulation, including. 

Princess Peach, Mario the cat, Tanooki Mario and Kamek. The playsets include Bowser's Island Castle a Donkey Kong Stadium. 

Both playsets include, in addition to the associated figure, numerous interactive elements that invite creative and versatile play. 

Furthermore, a launch of several minifigures is planned for July. 

These include Cat Mario and Tanooki Mario, as well as the villains Dry Bones and Goomba. 

The expansion of play options ties in with creatively re-enacting and continuing the story of the film in children's rooms.
