The Bright Agency signs Ready Eddie Go! for full-service representation
The producers of the BAFTA-nominated animated children's series Ready Eddie Go! have appointed Paul Black at The Bright Agency for full-service representation across publishing and brand licensing. The appointment expands the agency's portfolio of children's entertainment properties.
Navigating everyday childhood experiences
Ready Eddie Go! is a British children's television series that premiered on Sky Kids in September 2023. Created by James Murphy and Nikki Saunders and based on Saunders' My Awesome Autism book series, the show is narrated by Jodie Whittaker and follows Eddie, a six-year-old autistic boy inspired by Saunders' son, as he navigates everyday childhood experiences. The series was developed with child and educational psychologist Dr. Claire Prosser to ensure authentic representation. It is currently in its second season with 52 episodes and received a BAFTA nomination in the Children's Scripted category in 2025.
Developing a commercial programme
Under the new agreement, The Bright Agency will develop a commercial programme for the property, including a publishing strategy, a licensing programme spanning products, retail and apparel, and the exploration of further dramatisation opportunities. The agency will also leverage its international network of more than 2,000 partners to expand the brand's global reach.
Growing social media presence
The series has also built a growing social media presence, with more than 20,000 Instagram followers and over 8 million combined video views across Instagram and TikTok. According to the agency, the show's authentic approach has positioned Ready Eddie Go! as a trusted voice for advice and reassurance in the neurodivergent community.
The Bright Agency is now seeking publishing and licensing partners to further develop the Ready Eddie Go! brand across retail, product and print.
