The LEGO Group unveils first SpongeBob SquarePants set for adults
The LEGO Group has unveiled the LEGO Icons SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom building set to celebrate the inaugural SpongeBob Day and SpongeBob’s birthday in the animated series. Created in partnership with Paramount Products & Experiences, the 1,794-piece set recreates some of Bikini Bottom’s most iconic locations, including SpongeBob’s pineapple house, Squidward’s home and Patrick’s rock.
Detailed interiors
The display also features Jellyfish Fields and includes detailed interiors that allow builders to explore each character’s home. Alongside SpongeBob, Patrick and Squidward minifigures, the set comes with brick-built versions of Gary the Snail and DoodleBob.
Designed as a tribute to the humour and charm of the long-running series, the set is packed with references to memorable storylines and hidden details, including the legendary boatmobile, Squidward’s clarinet and a portrait of Gary.
