The Light Fund opens applications for 2027 Charity Projects
The Light Fund is accepting funding applications from UK-registered charities for projects to be delivered in 2027. Applications must be submitted online by 5pm on Friday, November 6, 2026.
Eligible charities supporting men, women or children in the UK or overseas may apply for funding of up to £5,000 for a specific project. Organisations operating outside the UK must also hold a UK-registered charity number.
Each registered charity may submit one proposal, unless applications come from separate divisions, such as regional branches. Projects with clearly defined, tangible outcomes are more likely to perform well in the selection process.
Applications will be reviewed and voted on by The Light Fund’s trustees and committee members. Funding decisions depend on the votes received and the amount raised through the fund’s annual fundraising activities. Successful applicants will be notified in December, and funded projects will be listed on the organisation’s website.
