The Toy Association and The Toy Foundation: 2025 Impact Reports
The Toy Association and The Toy Foundation have released their 2025 Impact Reports, highlighting a year focused on industry leadership, advocacy, philanthropy, and community engagement within the global toy industry.
Helping members navigate industry changes
According to Greg Ahearn, the Association concentrated on helping members navigate industry changes and create new opportunities. Key initiatives included leading the global #KeepToysTariffFree advocacy campaign, strengthening engagement with policymakers, supporting legislation to reduce regulatory burdens, and promoting global toy safety alignment. The organization also focused on expanding industry experiences through the return of Toy Fair to its first-quarter schedule, the opening of The Toy Building in Los Angeles, and broader international engagement through People of Play™ events. In addition, members received support through market data, educational programs, and marketing initiatives.
Delivering the power of play to more than 2.7 million children
At the same time, The Toy Foundation reported that it delivered the power of play to more than 2.7 million children in need through its Toy Chest and Play Fund programs. Donations reached children in underserved communities and those affected by natural disasters, while more than $400,000 in grants supported play therapy programs in 23 hospitals across the United States.
Pamela Mastrota emphasized the importance of industry collaboration in supporting children through philanthropy, highlighting the impact of corporate partnerships, toy donations, and community engagement efforts.
