Spielwarenmesse is a specialised trade fair. Tickets can only be purchased by registered trade professionals. Persons under 16 will not be admitted – excluding children up to 6 months.
Tckets are only available online and not be sold at the venue.
Please note: Suitcases, large bags and similar items that exceed standard hand luggage size must be left in the cloakroom.
Acquisition in return for payment with handover of products at the Spielwarenmesse (“over-the-counter sales”) is not permitted.

The Toy Retail Champion Award

The Toy Retailers Association (TRA) has announced The Retail Champion Award, a new accolade to recognise the diversity of talent involved in successful toy retailing.

The Toy Retail Champion Award recognises outstanding individuals who go above and beyond in promoting toy retailing in the UK or Ireland. It celebrates dedicated and often unsung heroes who are strong advocates for their company, their teams, the toy retail industry, and the communities they serve, consistently demonstrating excellence beyond their core responsibilities.

Judging Criteria

1. Initiative and Impact

  • Demonstrates dedication, integrity, a positive attitude, and initiative in their role
     
  • Consistently exceeds expectations and promotes toy retailing in a positive way
     
  • Actively advocates for their company and contributes to business success or innovation
     
  • Delivers clear, tangible results through their actions
     

2. Workplace Collaboration

  • Acts as a positive team player and supports effective collaboration
     
  • Fosters strong teamwork and positive working relationships
     
  • Enhances customer and stakeholder experience
     
  • Positively influences and supports the wider community
     

3. Flexibility in a Changing Retail Environment

  • Shows initiative in adopting new ways of working
     
  • Remains positive and adaptable during periods of change
     
  • Responds effectively to evolving customer needs
     
  • Embraces innovation and new approaches within retail
     

The nominations will be judged by a panel of retail peers, and winners will receive their award at appropriate times throughout the year.
