The World’s Most Valuable Brands: Telekom Sets a Record
Apple remains the world’s most valuable brand, while Nvidia continues its rapid rise. According to Brand Finance’s Global 500 ranking, Deutsche Telekom remains Germany’s most valuable brand. Despite a 12.8% increase to USD 96.2 billion, it stays in 11th place, just outside the top 10.
Most valuable telecommunications brand
Telekom remains the world’s most valuable telecommunications brand and the only German—and European—brand in the global top 20. Its brand value is the highest in the company’s history, having risen 141% since 2020. Brand Finance attributes this growth to consistent brand management and strong performance in the U.S. and Europe.
Among German brands, SAP entered the global top 50 for the first time, while Allianz increased its brand value by 22% to USD 60.7 billion. Edeka and BASF also recorded strong gains, while several major automotive brands lost ground.
The global top four
Globally, the top four brands—Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon—remain unchanged. Nvidia moved up to fifth place after more than doubling its brand value to over USD 184 billion, driven by its leading role in the AI economy.
In terms of brand strength, YouTube is now the world’s strongest brand, overtaking WeChat. Notably, Apple does not rank among the top 50 for brand strength, as it is currently perceived as less dynamic in visible AI-driven innovation compared with key competitors.
