Thunderbird Entertainment: Moose toys named global master toy partner
Thunderbird Distribution and Thunderbird Brands have appointed Moose Toys as the global master toy partner for BeddyByes, an animated preschool series produced by JAM Media. Under the licensing agreement, Moose Toys will develop a wide-ranging preschool toy line spanning multiple categories, including figures, plush, playsets, vehicles, wooden toys, role play, and musical instruments.
A preschool series focused on bedtime routines
BeddyByes is designed to support healthy sleep habits for young children, following familiar daily routines such as playtime, mealtime, bathtime, and bedtime. The series features gentle storytelling, calming music, and comforting visuals, led by characters MeMo and BaBa. The show currently airs on CBeebies and other international platforms and will launch in the U.S. on Disney+ and Disney Jr. this year.
Extending the brand beyond the screen
Thunderbird and JAM Media see strong licensing potential in BeddyByes, positioning it as a sleep-focused brand for preschoolers and families. Moose Toys will bring the characters to life through interactive toys designed to support daily routines and reinforce positive bedtime experiences.
Product rollout and global expansion
The first BeddyByes toy range is scheduled to launch in the UK in fall 2026, followed by a U.S. retail rollout in spring 2027. Additional launches in global markets will follow as the series debuts in more territories, beginning in early 2026 on Disney+ and Disney Jr.
Global distribution and upcoming showcases
Thunderbird acquired global media and consumer products rights to BeddyByes in 2024, excluding certain territories. The series debuted on BBC iPlayer and CBeebies in 2025 and is expanding across international broadcasters through 2026. BeddyByes will be showcased at major industry events including Spielwarenmesse, North American International Toy Fair, Licensing Expo, and Brand Licensing Europe in 2026.
