TikTok integrates e-commerce shop
In order to engage its extensive user base of over 150 million users in the U.S. in video sales and keep up with rival companies, the company announced the launch of "TikTok Shop." The implementation is expected to take place as early as the beginning of October.
According to a New York Times report, TikTok is launching with a strategy that directs users to shopping opportunities, offers coupons and discounts, and eliminates discounts from many vendors.
TikTok's e-commerce features are available in both video feeds and livestreams.
