TikTok Shop brings pre-owned to continental Europe

Following the launch in the United States and the United Kingdom, TikTok Shop now wants to offer the trade in used products on its platform throughout the European Union.

Preowned Luxury

TikTok Shop launched Preowned Luxury in the UK last spring to bring pre-owned fashion brands to a new audience and allow shoppers to buy authentic luxury fashion without having to leave TikTok. 

Product categories

TikTok has already introduced Preowned Luxury in the United States. Since October, the second-hand offering there has been expanded to include refurbished electronic items, which are also available on the platform in the UK. Sellers must have certificates from third-party providers.

TikTok Shop in Europe

TikTok Shop has been officially available in Germany, France and Italy for six weeks. The shopping function was already live in the UK, Spain and Ireland. There are now six European countries in total, including the five largest e-commerce markets in Europe. Expansion to other countries on the continent is expected.
