Tonieplay: tonies and Hasbro bring classic board games to the Toniebox 2

tonies and Hasbro are expanding their long-standing licensing partnership to include selected Hasbro Games titles for the recently launched Toniebox 2. Starting next year, three classic board games from Hasbro Games, including Monopoly, will be the first to be released. They are being developed specifically for Tonieplay, the new product category from tonies that enables interactive, screen-free gaming in single and multiplayer modes.

New dimension to gaming

With Tonieplay, tonies has recently introduced a new dimension to gaming: as an exclusive feature of the Toniebox 2, this interactive, screen-free experience offers children the opportunity to create their own stories and learning paths in games, quizzes, adventures, and challenges that go beyond mere listening. Tonieplay is based on a new, proprietary game engine. Twelve unique games are currently available, designed to promote independence, self-confidence, and creativity. The agreement with Hasbro underscores tonies' commitment to further expanding this strategic growth area.

Developed in close collaboration

Under the agreement between tonies and Hasbro Games, all titles will be developed in close collaboration between the two companies. The Tonieplay versions will remain faithful to the original games, but will add new twists, game concepts, and interactive moments to the classic board game versions. Further details – and titles – will be announced shortly before the market launch. All games will be available in tonies' core markets: North America, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, France, and Australia/New Zealand.
