tonies and BBC Studios bring Bluey to the Toniebox

tonies SE and BBC Studios have announced a global partnership that will bring the world of Bluey to the Toniebox for the first time. The collaboration will introduce a range of audio-based products inspired by the internationally successful children’s series, expanding the franchise beyond the screen through interactive storytelling and play.

Launching from summer 2026

Launching from summer 2026, the partnership will include new Bluey-themed Tonies figures, interactive Tonieplay adventures, and branded accessories. The content is designed to encourage imagination, play, and shared family experiences while remaining faithful to the spirit of the original series.

As part of the rollout, an exclusive Bluey Tonieplay experience developed by tonies’ in-house studio will be released between June and October 2026 in North America, the DACH region, the United Kingdom, France, Australia, and New Zealand. Created in close collaboration with BBC Studios, the audio-based game invites children to explore Bluey’s world through interactive stories and playful challenges inspired by memorable moments from the show.

The product range

The product range will also include Tonies figures featuring Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin in selected markets, as well as accessories such as Bluey-themed carrying cases and a Bluey cover for the Toniebox 2.

According to the companies, the partnership reflects growing demand from families for Bluey content on the Toniebox and further strengthens tonies’ position as a platform for children’s storytelling and family entertainment. The launch comes as the Toniebox platform continues its global expansion, with more than 12 million devices already in households worldwide.

Since its debut in Australia in 2018, Bluey has developed into one of the world’s most successful animated series, earning numerous industry awards and building a large international fanbase through its focus on family life, play, and storytelling.
