tonies: SDAX inclusion marks the next milestone in global growth story
tonies will be listed on the SDAX from December 22, recognizing it as one of the largest and most liquid companies on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Inclusion in the SDAX highlights the strong and profitable growth momentum in tonies' development from the founder of a new category to a global market leader – and marks the beginning of a new phase in the company's history. The inclusion in the index is due to tonies' strong business performance, which has led to a significant increase in market capitalization and liquidity.
Beginning of a new chapter
Tobias Wann, CEO of tonies, says: "The inclusion of tonies in the SDAX marks the beginning of a new chapter in our growth story. We have proven that we can scale our business model sustainably and profitably, and we are now ready to take tonies to the next level. With groundbreaking products such as the Toniebox 2, a growing global demand for high-quality, screen-free entertainment, and a clear plan for expansion and innovation, we are opening a chapter in which tonies will reach more families than ever before. We are increasingly shaping the entire toy market worldwide – our entry into the SDAX underscores the capital markets' clear confidence in our strategy and our future growth potential.“
One of Germany’s fastest-growing small caps
As the founder of the market for interactive audio entertainment for children, tonies has become one of Germany's fastest-growing small caps. The company combines continuous innovation with strong international expansion. In recent years, the company has achieved reliable profitable revenue growth of more than 30% per year. In the first nine months of fiscal year 2025, revenue rose by +33% in constant currency. North America is now tonies' largest market, while the highly profitable DACH region serves as a model for further expansion and demonstrates the earnings potential of the business model.
As part of the SDAX, tonies will now belong to the exclusive group of the 70 most important companies listed on the German stock exchange after the DAX and MDAX, which are recognized for their relevance in the market.
