Toy Fair remains in NYC

Earlier this month, the Toy Association announced plans to move its annual Toy Fair from New York City to New Orleans for three years beginning in 2026. Following the release and an open dialogue with the toy manufacturing community, it became clear that the idea was not met with enthusiasm. After the release, it became clear that the toy manufacturers were urging the trade group to reverse this move.

In an open letter to Toy Association members, Aaron Muderick, chair, Toy Association, and The Toy Association board of directors stated feedback was far from positive about the proposed relocation plans, saying that the proposed change was, “The wrong choice for our members.”

Now the toy association relented. So after a hiatus in 2024, Toy Fair will return to New York City.

Toy Fair will now return to the Javits Center in New York from March 1-4, 2025. They are also working with Javits Center management to confirm dates for 2026 and beyond in February.
