transcosmos participates in Mini Sapporo 2026
transcosmos has participated in Mini Sapporo 2026, held at Access Sapporo on October 3 and 4, to give children opportunities to experience work and consumer activities and learn about how society functions.
Work experience program
Mini Sapporo is a work experience program for third- and fourth-grade elementary school students in Sapporo City and neighboring areas. It allows children to experience activities such as finding a job, working, receiving wages, paying taxes and using their earnings to shop and dine.
At its booth, transcosmos introduced children to the work of a contact center agent using its generative AI role-playing system, trans-AI Tutor. Participants selected AI-powered customer personas with different characteristics and spoke with them to identify and resolve their problems. The activity aimed to help children understand the importance of communication while working toward earning a customer’s “Thank you!”
Community involvement
Children who took part received one handmade gift of their choice from a selection of original pocket notebooks, blank notebooks and memo pads created by employees of transcosmos assist inc., the company’s special subsidiary established to promote the employment of people with disabilities.
transcosmos entered Sapporo City in 1980. Today, it provides customer experience (CX) services, including contact center and digital marketing services, as well as business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The company has approximately 6,500 employees across 16 locations in the city.
As part of its local community involvement, transcosmos has made donations through Japan’s corporate hometown tax program and participates in the Sapporo SDGs-driven Business Registration Program.
The company said it will continue to engage in community-focused activities and contribute to addressing local social challenges as part of its commitment to building a sustainable society.
